MSD FEDERAL CREDIT UNION ANNUAL MEETING

The MSD Federal Credit Union will hold its annual meeting on Wednesday January 22, 2025, at 3:15 pm at the CMF Training Room. 

The MSD Federal Credit Union Board of Directors is responsible for establishing policies to provide direction for the operations of the credit union. The Credit Union is looking for candidates to stand for election at the annual meeting. To be eligible to run for the Board, you must be a member in good standing and over the age of eighteen. A member in good standing is defined as meeting the required minimum in all share accounts, all accounts are current and have no history of delinquency and has never caused a loss as a result of any negligence. 

If you meet these requirements and are interested in running for election to the Board, please contact the Credit Union and we will put you in touch with the Nominating Committee. 

The Credit Union will close at 2:00 pm on Wednesday January 22, 2025 to allow for the staff to attend the 2025 Annual Meeting.

  • Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Mission Statement

The mission of the MSD Federal Credit Union is to provide a safe and favorable place to save, and to provide loans and services for prudent and productive purposes at a reasonable rate, now and in the future.   The changing needs of the membership will be supported while maintaining long-term financial stability of the Credit Union.

Membership Eligibility

You are eligible to join the MSD Federal Credit Union provided you are employed by, or retired as a pensioner from MSD, the Louisville Water Company, or are employed by the MSD Federal Credit Union.

Family Members

You are eligible to join the MSD Federal Credit Union if you are a member of the immediate family or household of an MSD employee or retiree.  "Immediate family" will be defined as spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent or grandchild.  This will also include step-parents, step-children, step-siblings and adoptive relationships.   "Household" members will be defined as persons living in the same residence maintaining a single economic unit.  Family members have the same privileges as primary members.

Update Your Contact Information

Review the contact information for your account at least once each year and contact the credit union to make any changes or fill in missing information. Update your Postal Service address, email address and telephone numbers. Mail returned because of incorrect address information is charged a fee of $5 per item.

Account Ownership Options

You can set your account up as either single membership, where the account belongs to the member, no one else has access to the funds; or joint ownership, where the account has two or more owners, each owner has the right to access the account individually.  The primary person on the account must be a member.  A joint owner does not have to be a member.  You may retain your membership for life, providing your membership is active and in accordance with the by-laws of the Credit Union.
