Mandy the Salamander is Louisville MSD’s friendly new helper. She is here to educate you about what we do—and what you can do—to ensure safe, clean waterways throughout Louisville and the surrounding region.
Mandy is a tiger salamander, one of the largest land-dwelling salamanders on earth. Tiger salamanders choose only to live in healthy, clean streams and rivers, so she is an ideal choice for helping convey the importance of protecting local waterways.
