MSD Customer Assistance Programs offer discounts to qualified low-income residents who face difficulty paying their water bills, and to low-income senior citizens. There are also payment management options available through the Drops of Kindness program.
Emergency Wastewater Rate Assistance Program
This program provides a temporary 30 percent discount on MSD wastewater charges for qualified low-income households. Learn more about the Emergency Wastewater Assistance Program.
Senior Citizen Discount
Senior citizens who are age 65 or older and have a gross annual household income of $35,000 or less may apply for a 30 percent discount on wastewater charges and the consent decree surcharge. Learn more about the Senior Discount Program.
