This vine can be a good climber or ground cover. Blooms are followed by bright red berries. Blooms primarily on previous year's stems, so prune to shape after flowering. Trumpet honeysuckle requires light, good air circulation, and adequate drainage to prevent powdery mildew. Some structural assistance may be necessary to help it begin climbing. Attracts bees, birds, hummingbirds and butterflies.
