Picking up trash along our waterways is a little thing that can make a big difference for our streams. Louisville MSD is hosting a River Sweep volunteer event to improve water quality in our community and reduce our community’s impact on the Ohio River. The River Sweep event is Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Karen Lynch Park, located at 1709 Story Avenue. MSD will provide trash bags, gloves, a sanitizing station, and trash grabbers for the cleanup. Volunteers will also receive a free t-shirt at the event.
