Community Benefits Through Strategic Partnerships
MSD spends millions of dollars each year building and maintaining the infrastructure to provide wastewater treatment, storm drainage, and flood protection. Our Community Benefits & Strategic Partnerships division exists to help deliver social impacts beyond those immediate capital and maintenance projects.
MISSION
Ensure that large scale MSD construction and professional services contracting is leveraged to deliver positive economic, environmental, and social impacts for residents of our service area. The mission is accomplished through the following initiatives.
Community Benefits Program
Firms contracting with MSD are encouraged to assist nonprofit activity in the community through workforce development, education, financial or in-kind contributions, volunteering and more. The goal is to continually increase health, equity, and sustainability throughout our community.
