Updated Details on East Liberty Street Closure
Final step in emergency sewer repair project
LOUISVILLE, KY – East Liberty Street will be closed to through traffic between Baxter Avenue and South Hancock Street from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, August 28 through Thursday, August 31 to make way for paving except as noted below. Detour signs will be in place. The paving is the final step in an emergency sewer repair project that began in February this year following deterioration of a large sewer line that was built in 1872.
EXCEPTION
Between South Campbell Street and East Chestnut Street, the daily closure hours will be 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
