E Blue Lick Road—between N Triangle Lane and Carter Avenue—
to close to traffic through the weekend
LOUISVILLE, KY – MSD is improving wastewater treatment services in the Hillview area of Bullitt County. Part of that work includes replacing some existing sewer pipes and installing new dual 8-inch force mains (sewer pipes) under E Blue Lick Road between N Triangle Lane and Carter Avenue. That portion of the roadway will close to traffic beginning at 7 PM on Friday, October 18 through 5 AM on Monday, October 21.
MSD is working with MAC Construction & Excavating to replace the influent pump station at the old Hunters Hollow Wastewater Treatment Plant site. When all work is complete, wastewater from that area will flow to MSD’s regional Derek R. Guthrie Water Quality Treatment Center in Jefferson County. This regional approach provides state-of-the-art wastewater treatment and will improve the quality of waterways in that area.
