Bishop's Wort

Clumps will spread over time to form a dense ground cover. This species makes a nice border plant. The leaves of Bishop's Wort are evergreen during mild winters. Flower color ranges from white and pink through reddish-purple. Spent flower spikes should be cut back in the fall. Good food source for bee and butterflies. Medicinal plant. This species grows well under Black Walnut trees and is not attractive to deer.
