MSD partners with ABET-accredited engineering programs at regional colleges and universities to offer paid co-op opportunities that turn classroom learning into real-world experience. These positions are available during the spring, summer, and fall semesters.

As a co-op student, you’ll work alongside experienced Professional Engineers on meaningful projects in civil/environmental or electrical engineering. You’ll help collect and analyze data, support active projects, and develop recommendations by applying engineering theories to real challenges facing our community.

To be eligible, you must be a full-time student in good standing, currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited bachelor’s or master’s engineering program.

It’s a chance to build your skills, get paid, and make an impact—while helping keep Louisville flowing.

New position openings will be posted on the MSD Current Openings page when available.
